    Default Flash Plugin in Webkit (NetRemote)

    I do quite a bit of work with Qt. I was trying to use NetRemote to access a site that uses the Flash player and could not from NetRemote.

    In my programs, in order to get flash to work, I use:

    QWebSettings *settings = QWebSettings::globalSettings();
    settings->setAttribute (QWebSettings::PluginsEnabled, true);

    Is this the case with Girder 6 and NetRemote ? Or am I doing something wrong and completely missing the point ?

    I tried that but it appears to not make a difference. In Qt 4.8 there was a property on WebView called settings.pluginsEnabled

    http://doc.qt.io/qt-4.8/qml-webview.html

    however Qt 5.4 doesn't have that anymore:

    http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qml-qtwebview-webview.html

    I did also set the global as per your suggestion, it doesn't make any difference. Any clues where to start digging on this one? ( 6.0.8.1 has the code you suggest above if you want to try for your self )

    I used it with 4.8 also. Qt 5 is a different beast. I will keep digging. There has got to be a way to do this.

    Here is the link for Qt 5.4.

    Supposedly, this is how to get to it. There have been postings that state that it is broken.

    Yeah I found that one. The code you posted above does indeed compile, but alas it doesn't appear to actually do anything for the QML WebView.
