Default Logger Messages with Codes from PIR-1

When l get logger messages from my PIR-1 after pressing a key on a remote it lists a 32 digit code (552fa67ab9fbf5c060bd66bd6d0f9a35).

What does this code represent? Can this be converted to a CCF code? I have scoured the user manual and forum but I cannot find anything.

    Please advise - THANKS!

That is a semi unique code for that button press. Every time you press that specific button you should get this code again. Note that some remotes have toggle codes and will produce two different codes. These codes can be used as event strings in girder.

These codes cannot be used to transmit IR signals. To transmit IR signals you need to do a learn cycle. At that time Girder extracts much more information from the signal so that it can recreate it.

    Ron,

OK, that makes total sense. The shortened string is very helpful when troubleshooting. I could see why you took this approach instead of using the complete CCF code (saves time and space). Thank you for the clarification!!
