Default Python-Extension for Girder / Python-Plugin for Girder

    Hi,

I'm thinking about a girder plugin, which embeddes a complete python
scripting environment for better variable manipulation and so on.

The second thing is: I already have a half finished python extension, which loads girder plugins and simulates the real girder api. so you get all
the features of girder plugin, especially getting events from the remotes. The only thing you have to do, is to program what your pc should do. Because of the power of python there's a lot of possibilities and some of the action plugins become redundant. But compared to girder it's real programming with all pros and cons.

What do you think about it?

    Greetings stevy.

    Comments:

Maybe it should be implemented as a GVMS replacement like the LUA-GVMS.... just an idea.

    Ron,
Are there any plans to be able to extend Girder using Python?
